Adding motion to a static display can really add to its impact. Over the years LEGO have brought out a number of different systems to do this. This tutorial looks at the Mindstroms system before Power Functions came out, as well as how they integrate with 9v Railway systems. The tutorial will show how cranes can be controlled to move automatically lifting and moving a load, as well as using light sensors to control trains to stop and start at stations.
