The Brisbane Lego Train Group is made up of mature
Lego train enthusiasts & collectors from around and near the capital of
Queensland, Brisbane.
Moving into a
permanent clubhouse.
Yes, we have joined up with the
Ipswich Heritage Model Railway Club .
And now can boast to having the LARGEST operating Lego train layout
in Australia built entirely of LEGO bricks. It features 3 main running
tracks covering an excess of 150m, multiple sidings, monorails and unique
scenery.
We are located with the
IHMRC in the Old Tool &
Gauge Building at the Ipswich Rail Workshops on the grounds of "the
workshops rail museum", North Street, North Ipswich. Admission to view our
layout is free, but requires admission into the museum.
Viewing Times
1st Saturday of the month: 10:30 till
approx 3pm
3rd Sunday of the month: 12noon till
approx 4pm.
